The Media Food Bank provides nutritional and household items to families of Media community who are in need, with the mission to help financially disadvantaged citizens living in Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
This organization is a necessary part of life for well over one hundred people in the borough and surrounding areas; While being located at the First United Methodist Church in downtown Media, the Food Bank also serves the residents of Upper Providence, Nether Providence, Rose Valley, Middletown, Bethel, Aston, Thornbury, Chadds Ford, Chester Heights, Concord, Parkside, Brookhaven, Birmingham, and Swarthmore (west of Chester Rd). Each family who visits the pantry is provided with enough food for 3 meals per day for 5 days, for each family member, per month.
